Kwesta has been under fire from a few people in the entertainment industry in recent days. The latest celeb to call him out is DJ Maphorisa.
Taking to Instagram Live, Phori revealed that he produced Kwesta’s hit song Ngud’. The song went on to become one of the most popular rap songs in the country, however Phori did not receive a 'thank you' cheque.
Maphorisa expressed that he felt like Kwesta should have given him something to say thank you for the project, even a cash amount of R20 000.

“He got paid for producing the song. He's just wants 'coldrink' money. Question is, if 'Ngudu' didn't make money, would he have refunded Kwesta?”

“He got paid for producing the song. He’s just mad that they didn’t think of him after the song’s success.”

“That’s the thing, if you Listen to Makwa, Phori, Nota and Kwesta, there’s different versions of the story. Right now people are on Phori's side, same when the others speak. There’s the real truth. I won’t take Phori's word. Same as Makwa. Someone is lying.”
@simpienut2 said:
“That Kwesta kid also turned on Nyovest and became an AKA associate after Cass gave him a big break with a catchy verse on Ngud', he knows nothing about loyalty.”
