A South African teacher recently had her day made by a grateful parent who decided to bless her with a sweet gift. Taking to Facebook's ImStaying, Rhulani Mlambo explained how she was having her tough day on her first day at work as a virtual teacher when her happiness was restored by the kind parent.
"Yesterday must have been the most challenging day for me as a teacher. I was in a new grade, with a new class and I was teaching online. Things did NOT GO AS PLANNED AT ALL! One of the moms messaged me telling me she had dropped something off at the gate for me.
"When I finally left, I picked up my “parcel”. In it was a box of Smarties and a card that made my whole day/week/month/year! It’s always the simple things. I’m a “funky teacher” ,I’m a teacher who loves to DANCE AND SING. I am a SMARTIE. I produce SMARTIES. That’s why I’m staying. #TeachingIsAWorkOfHeart," she wrote in the touching post.
Stayers had this to say:

"Rhulani, people like you make life a joy in the face of a hundred reasons to be sad."
Sandra Donnelly said:
"God bless you my dear."
