Annie Mthembu's ex-husband has finally come forward to address the cheating allegations against him.

Businessman and nightclub owner, Kgolo Daguru's marriage crumbled after his wife left The Real Housewives of Durban, which coincided with a downturn in his business.

Annie revealed in an interview on Engineer Your Life that the reason she left Daguru was that he was seeing other women behind her back, leaving her humiliated and blindsided by who he really was in the outside world.

“No one likes to be cheated on. It makes you question yourself a lot. Are you enough, you know, is there something wrong with me?"

He responded to a snippet of the conversation on Instagram on 12 August 2025, apologising to Annie for betraying her and their family, and alluding to facing personal struggles:

"No matter the personal struggles I was facing, there's never an excuse for dishonouring God's blessings. I deeply regret the pain l've caused you. As the head of the family, I let everyone down."
