On Friday, 12 September 2025, the activist who made damning allegations about DJ Shimza announced on her X (formerly Twitter) page that her "cookie" smelt nice even without any perfume sprayed over it. This, however, sparked a heated debate among her followers as they shared their own opinions about Mazwai's claims.

Many netizens weren't surprised by how Ntsiki looked like when she was young, with some saying that she looked more like her father than her mom. A group of other netizens even went so far as to compare the activist with Thandiswa's ageless beauty.

Ntsiki blames herself for Nota dragging women with weaves

According to a 2021 TshisaLIVE report, Ntsiki had much to say about celebs who glamourise foreign hair, popularly known as weaves. She slammed celebs, saying the hair brands they launch distract the youth. In 2022, Mazwai didn't back down from her opinions despite the backlash. The Citizen claimed she said African women wearing weaves are self-hating.
