South African radio personality Anele Mdoda continued posting as usual online and the social media streets are buzzing.

On Thursday, 2 April 2026, her husband Bonelela 'Buzza' Mgudlwa and his business partner Katleho Monkonyane, who is Nomvula Monkonyane's daughter, made headlines after they were allegedly ordered to repay R14 million.

Buzza James in COVID-19 PPE drama, Anele unfazed

The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) found that Tark Group Pty Ltd received two contracts from the Mpumalanga Department of Health to provide COVID-19 PPE. However, after their investigation, they found that this was done so illegally.

Hence, Katleho Mokonyane and Mgudlwa, who is the husband of the radio star were held responsible for returning the R14.3 million.

An unbothered Anele Mdoda said it's business as usual for her. On X, where she is mostly active, her page is filled with recent posts interacting with her followers. However many people noticed that she swerved away from the drama.

In one post, she posted a video inside her luxury car and filmed her garage entrance, while complaining about her son's tendencies.

"Living in their world sana," she captioned her post.

Mzansi did not let her go that easily. Under her post, people dragged her through the mud.
