Cassper Nyovest has hit back hard at critics who suggested he was using a road rage tragedy to reignite his public profile, insisting his career needs no saving.
The drama began after a man was shot dead in Kempton Park following a road rage incident. When Cassper reacted to the news on X, some users accused him of using the tragedy to fuel his ongoing beef with Mac G and the Podcast and Chill crew rather than expressing genuine concern. The backlash that followed prompted the rapper to clap back publicly on 17 September 2026.

The Mama I Made It hitmaker said, "Which career needs reviving? Hahah y'all delusional AF. I AM KILLING IT!!! BANK IS BOOMING!!!! Meshack, skai juta!!! I AM NOT A SEASONAL ARTIST, I AM A SEASONED ARTIST!!! I AM GONE!!!! You think I need attention from pigs like you and them?? Block me and see what happens to me," he wrote.

He also turned his attention to a fan named Monte Blanq, who had announced he was close to withdrawing his support. Cassper told him to stop being a fan and instead back content that "jokes about a missing woman", a clear shot at the podcast network. "Don't be close to retiring, champ; stop today and go support vile, destructive, desensitised content that can joke about a missing woman!!! Lemme give you an idea: Start a group called #CassperMustGo while you're at it. HAMBA!!!" he added.
