MacG is not one to hold back, and his latest dig at Cassper Nyovest at a live Chillers Punch event has set social media ablaze.

Footage from what appeared to be an event for the podcaster's Chillers Punch spirit coolers went viral on 8 October 2026. In the clip, MacG took to the stage looking noticeably different from his usual laid-back look, opting for a suit and a buttoned-up shirt.

With a mic in hand, the Podcast and Chill founder addressed the crowd and those watching on the live stream. After thanking supporters, he veered straight into a jab at Cassper's liquor brand, Billiato.

"Without you guys, we'd just be another failed alcohol brand like Billiato, and we don't want that," he said to the audience.

The timing of the video made it land with extra weight. Not long before the clip surfaced, MacG and co-host Sol Phenduka had faced serious criticism over insensitive comments about slain runner Elizabeth "Tsontso" Moselakgomo.

Cassper was among those who called the podcasters out publicly, condemning what he saw as a pattern of tasteless remarks on their platform. He also clashed with the Chillers, as the podcast's fanbase is known, and made it clear he would never appear on Podcast and Chill.

MacG's Billiato comment only added to the existing friction between both camps.

MacG slapped with court order by MySol

In an earlier report, Briefly News shared insight into Solomon "MySol" Madibela taking legal action against Podcast and Chill and his former friend and business partner, Benjamin "Benjy" Maponya.

This comes after Maponya made explosive allegations against the mining magnate on the podcast, accusing him of betrayal and freezing his income.
