Samuel found himself caught between his long history with Sharon and the temptation of something new with Palesa, who resorted to a string of desperate lies in her bid to keep him.

Sharon spent much of the storyline on edge, fearing that Palesa was a threat she simply could not shake. In the end, Samuel and Sharon's chemistry proved too powerful to be undone, and the two went on to marry and raise a son together, cementing their place as one of South African television's most iconic pairings.
