Blue Mbombo has come out swinging after businessman Thami Ndlala publicly alleged that she stole and sold his Rolex watch, with the piece reportedly valued at over R150,000. Rather than staying quiet, the media personality went straight to Instagram Stories and laid out her defence with both receipts and some very pointed words.
Ndlala's claims framed the situation as a criminal matter, but Blue had a completely different interpretation. In her view, the entire saga was less about a missing timepiece and far more about a man struggling to accept that his romantic advances had been firmly turned down.

"Being rejected is one thing. Having your entire identity collapse because you were rejected? That's a completely different level of embarrassment," she wrote. She followed that up with: "You can spend money trying to winning a woman.. unfortunately You cannot spend your way into being wanted.!!!!"
The shade kept coming:
“Imagine confusing rejection with theft. Heal! Take your L and move on, princess. 👸🏽 Imagine making another woman the centre of your world when she has absolutely no interest in being in yours. The obsession is louder than the rejection."
In perhaps her sharpest line, she wrote:
"Imagine thinking your money could buy you love, only for the investment to yield absolutely no returns. 😭 I'd want a refund too, shame."
The documents she shared
Beyond the commentary, Blue published what she presented as formal documentation. Among the items was a valuation certificate from Shemer Jewellers at Bedford Centre, addressed to "Mrs Thandi Mbombo," detailing a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Lady-Datejust in Oystersteel with a dark grey dial and Jubilee bracelet, valued at R137,809.00.
She also shared an email screenshot from a representative named Zuko at the same jewellers, alongside a follow-up recall notice from a staff member named Refiloe, which read: "Kindly note the previous email has been recalled. Please disregard its contents in full, as the information contained therein is no longer valid and should not be used for any reference or action."
Blue's broader argument was clear: the legal threats directed at her were not about recovering stolen property but about recouping what Ndlala considered financial investments in a relationship that never materialised the way he had hoped.
