A South African content creator turned a famous Zulu idiom into comedy gold on 18 August 2026, and Mzansi could not get enough.
Ntathu Zungu, known for her street-style vox-pop videos filmed with a Talk Radio 702-branded microphone she stumbled upon, took her latest episode outdoors to a township setting. This time, she set her sights on one of the most well-known Zulu phrases: *uzowukhomba umuzi onotshwala*, loosely translated as "you will point out the house that has alcohol."
The saying has long been used figuratively, but Ntathu decided to take it literally.
Ntathu finds the house
In the clip, Ntathu introduces the segment by noting that Zulu-speaking South Africans have been promised for decades that someone would one day point out this mysterious house. Armed with her microphone, she approaches a local woman and asks the question directly. Without hesitation, the woman obliges and points to a house right behind her.
