A Gauteng entrepreneur is turning heads with his handmade mobile hygiene units, and South Africans cannot get enough of what he has built.
Tshimologo Hygiene Solutions posted a product demonstration video on Instagram on 6 September 2026, showing off two different types of innovative mobile units designed for everyday South African life. The clip quickly caught fire online, with thousands of followers asking where to buy the products and how much they cost.
The first unit is a fully mobile hand-washing station built on a repurposed drum fitted with wheels. A foot pedal at the base triggers water flow from a tap, with a paper towel holder attached to the side and a water container housed inside a compartment cut into the drum. The whole setup rolls easily from one spot to another, making it ideal for outdoor events, informal settlements, or any space without running water.
Tshimologo's Mobile Kitchen takes it further
The second product adds a gas stove to the mix. A metal frame supports both a stove on top and a sink alongside it, with a compartment below for the gas bottle and water container. It is designed for people who need to cook and wash up in areas where infrastructure is limited, offering two essential functions in a single compact unit.

The business delivers nationwide and offers custom branding on request. Prices start at R9,200 for the fully mobile hygiene station and R12,000 for the mobile kitchen unit, excluding branding and delivery.
