The man was discovered unresponsive approximately 20 minutes before the aircraft touched down at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. Cause of death still unclear

Authorities have not confirmed what caused the passenger's death. It is not yet known whether he suffered a medical episode before or during the altercation, or whether the physical restraint played a role in what happened. The investigation remains open.

According to reports, Kenya Airways confirmed the incident took place and said it is working closely with the passenger's family, Nigerian officials, and aviation authorities. The airline chose not to disclose the passenger's name, nationality, or age while the matter is under active review.
