Giant telecommunications company Safaricom tickled ribs online by responding to a lady who wondered if her lover was still using the number he gave her.

Safaricom gives reality check

The lady, identified as Lemmy Marjan, posted on the social media handle of the company, asking if her unnamed lover still communicated using the number he gave her.

"Saf, please check if my ex still uses 0727xxx390. Thanks in advance," said Lemmy on Facebook.

A Safaricom social media handler who identified himself as PK humorously responded by saying that the man was no longer interested in the relationship.

"Born to say hii imeenda (this is gone) but forced to say unfortunately Lemmy, we are unable to share or view such crucial information," said PK.
