Rachel Kolisi, humanitarian and author, stepped onto the stage at a Motherhood event in Namibia on 13 September 2026 with a message that stopped people in their tracks. Dressed in an elegant silk gown, she delivered a keynote address that quickly gained attention far beyond the room.

Her speech, shared on her TikTok account @rachelkolisi, centred on identity and the many faces of womanhood. Rachel told the audience that society often tries to reduce women to a single version of themselves, when in truth, women are built to hold many contradictions at once — fierce and graceful, wild and patient, soft and strong. She encouraged every woman in the room to stop choosing between the different parts of who they are and instead honour them all.
