"Bafana Bafana is beyond repair, Benni will regret it, SAFA is run by politicians."
@phume22:
"Benni McCarthy should’ve stayed with AmaZulu and contend for the league."
@Matome_Kay:
"Any South African coach taking up the Bafana Bafana head coaching job while we still have those politicians at SAFA House is a recipe for disaster. I hope Benni McCarthy and Pitso Mosimane turn down the job, it's for their own good..."
@Ndobe_Bibow:
"I Don't think Benni will allow SAFA to control him. Anyway, congratulations coach we wish you all the best.. carry Bafana Bafana to the world cup ."
@TshepoTsala:
"Benni McCarthy just took the worst decision of his young coaching career but if it was solely about money then I understand, how do you leave a high-flying AmaZulu for a national team that has no players to compete even in Africa let alone the world."
Earlier, Briefly News reported that AmaZulu coach Benni McCarthy has finally shared his thoughts on the reports that he is headhunted for the Bafana Bafana coaching job.
The Bafana all-time goalscorer has turned Usuthu’s fortunes as they now sit second on the DStv Premiership table, trailing log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns by a single point.
With the national team having parted ways with mentor Molefi Ntseki, McCarthy’s name has been heavily linked with the vacant post.
