Orlando Pirates have confirmed bad news on Sihle Nduli after the midfielder suffered a serious ankle injury against AmaZulu. The 30-year-old was forced off during the 1-1 draw at Kings Park Stadium after a heavy challenge.
The club’s medical team subsequently assessed the injury and confirmed a Grade 3 ligament tear. Pirates said Nduli is expected to be sidelined for approximately four months, ruling him out for the remainder of 2026.
The update comes shortly after Nduli returned from a lengthy injury layoff. His comeback has therefore been cut short by another significant setback.
