Elsa Majimbo Thanks South Africans for Support, Says Kenya Is Not Safe for Her

Comedienne Elsa Majimbo has shared that her relationship with Nairobi has been one of the hardest experiences she has had in life.

The 19-year-old appeared in an interview with AB Talks YouTube interview with Anas Bukhash and she gave reasons why she is not planning on living in Kenya.

"I have a bad relationship with Nairobi. People think it is just the internet but people have made it hard for me in Nairobi,'' she said.

According to Majimbo, people picked on her because of her skin colour.

"It did feel like everyone in the city is against me. So most of the time I would stay in the house and mind my own business. Then I went to South Africa where I was supposed to stay for four days, I went and never looked back."

Majimbo said that she found happiness elsewhere and added that she told her manager, she would rather hope from country to country than go back to Nairobi.

"My sister asked me where I would be going when l leave Dubai and said do not know, she told me to go back to Nairobi but after thinking about it, I said that was the worst option for me. I told my sister if I have nowhere else to go, I would rather go back to South Africa,'' she added.

She thanked South Africans for rallying behind her when Kenyans did not find her content amusing.

According to Majimbo, South Africans pushed her content to a global niche and she said she is glad she has a home in South Africa, where she feels safe. She added Kenya is not that place for her.

In a similar story, Briefly News Elsa Majimbo is making a real career out of her social media presence. The social media star was spotted hanging out with Black Coffee and the two were having such a vibe together.

Elsa was also hanging out with television personality Olwethu Leshabane earlier. Elsa recently landed in South Africa after letting her fans know that she would be spending some time in the country.

Elsa really enjoyed her time with Black Coffee and took to social media to show off some snaps of them hanging out. South African football coach Steve Komphela was also there and she called them her best friends.
