Jubilation As Akon Recognises Artist After He Used Old Newspapers to Create His Photo
- Popular US star, Akon, has given a Nigerian artist, Kyrian Arinze, much fame after resharing the artwork he made
- Praising the young Nigerian, the American musician said "Thank you, this is cool" as he went ahead to appreciate his recycling method
- Many people on Instagram also appreciated Arinze for how he created something so beautiful using old newspapers

Popular American singer, Akon, has given great attention to a young talented Nigerian artist, Kyrian Arinze, who recycled old newspapers and created a beautiful portrait of the celebrity.
Recall that Arinze's artwork went viral on Thursday, June 4, as people marvelled at his great attention to detail in creating a wonderful piece out of trash.
Speaking with Briefly News, Arinze revealed that he spent a week and some days creating the piece. He added that when he started, he could spend one month to make such.

On some of his challenges, the man who self-taught himself the art said he sometimes makes mistakes with colour combinations.

He got Akon's attention
Akon posted the portrait on his official Instagram page as he appreciated the young man for using the power of recycling to create a good item.
On his posture in the photo, he said:
"Whenever you see artist/artiste in this mood, he's either thinking on what to create or how to create."

Another Nigerian artist was once celebrated
Meanwhile, Briefly News earlier reported that a Nigerian artist with the social media handle @kemz_Emmanuel got international attention after he did a pencil drawing of American artist DJ Khaled and posted it on Twitter on Monday, August 17, 2020.
In the post, he made sure he tagged the American DJ as he asked people to help him retweet his work so that the disc jockey maestro can see it.
A day after on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, DJ Khaled put Emmanuel in the spotlight as he quoted his tweet and added "Wow amazing!"
