Many of South Africa's favourite musicians delivered some awesome albums in 2018. South Africans enjoyed music that was really amazing this year.
Briefly.co.za took a look at the albums that made the most impact on music and selected the top 5 that received the most attention from Mzansi.

Strings and Bling - Nasty C
This album was a hit almost as soon as word got out that it had been released. Nasty C showed why he has so many loyal fans by producing really great music. It delivered hits like King and Strings and Bling and we're happy to have it.
The album won the Album of The Year Award, and that says everything.
L.O.V.E - Zonke Dikana
Zonke's album L.O.V.E was received to much acclaim. The album reached gold status and is a must-have for all her fans. Tracks like "NdiliMpondo" makes this album a great listen. The sensational singer can reach into our souls with her music.
Iyeza - Anatii
This album is considered one of the most experimental albums of 2018, according to a report by ZAlebs. The music is considered real works of art. With praise like that, it's obvious that the album was a huge success.

Touch My Blood - AKA
AKA has been having a hugely successful year, and it showed when his album was received with great praise. The album is considered musical genius and gave Mzansi the killer track Fela in Versace.
Manyan Nyan - Vusi Nova
This album went platinum and that alone proves that it was a huge hit with fans of Vusi. With tracks like As’phelelanga, this album quickly became one of the hottest in Mzansi and greatly satisfied Vusi's fans.
