Cosmetic surgery has increased in popularity in recent years, but the risks still exist.
A young lady preferred not to go under the knife and opted to go for a non-invasive procedure to remove fat below her chin.
Sofia Marroquin recently went to a clinic in Australia for the Kybella treatment, which is a non-surgical injection procedure.

However, the 19-year-old was left with some unexpected and undesirable results. The procedure left her with a puffy face and a square jaw.
Most young ladies would have self-isolated out of embarrassment, but Marroquin decided to share the experience with the world.
She revealed her new look to her family and shared the video via her TikTok account.

She introduced the clip by saying, “Yep, so just got some lovely needles into my face. My family has absolutely no idea what I've just done and I'm about to get their reaction.”
Her family's reactions were priceless once Marroquin enters the home. Her father was in disbelief and covered his mouth out of horror.
Marroquin's sister seemed hysterical when she saw the new look and couldn't stop laughing.
Briefly.co.za learnt that the video has been viewed more than 3.5 million times.
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that a man has spent over R11-million on plastic surgery.
He is known as the 'human Ken doll' because of his plastic-like resemblance to the actual Mattel toy range.
