Grannies are amazing, they play such an important role in our lives and offer so much to the younger generation.
Mokoena Salome took to Facebook and revealed in the #ImStaying group that her granny turned 101 and she took the opportunity to wish her a happy birthday.
She said that her granny has never been to the hospital and is very strong and independent, dining everything herself.

"Hey, stayers my beloved granny is turning 101 years today please help me wish her the happiest birthday to her she has done so much for us I cannot tell it all I'm so grateful to have her in my life."

What makes her gogo extra special, besides being a Christmas baby, is that he raised her, she calls her gogo her only mother.

In other news, Naph W Phahladira is a young South African man who is inspiring many with the love and care he has for his grandfather. Naph is 28 years old and his grandfather is 80 years old but he still cares for him.
In a post shared to the #ImStaying group on Facebook, Naph can be seen giving his grandfather a haircut and a shave. His post has received over 6 500 reactions on the social networking site since its upload.
Stayers felt immense pride at the fact that the young man proudly shared the image of him with his grandfather.
