There's a new rapper on the block and his name is Priddy Prince. He's a young rapper from Cape Town and has been driving Mzansi crazy with his lyrics on social media.
Priddy Prince is only 15-years-old but he's showing the hip-hop scene that he's a force to be reckoned with. The internet has been helping quite a number of people in getting discovered and Priddy Prince is no different.
The young rapper is from Cape Town and his claim to social media fame was when he freestyled a song by DJ Mustard and Roddy Ricch’s titled Ballin’ back in July 2020.
The freestyle can be found on YouTube and has over 7000 views on the video streaming platform. The song has received love from DJ Speedsta and Ms Cosmo.
Priddy Prince has recently released a song titled Jump 2 and a music video to go along with it. Just days after the music video dropped it amassed 10 000 views on YouTube.
An American YouTuber named Mansa Mayne has co-signed Priddy Prince. He said that felt like he was a younger version of Bobby Shmurda. He also said that the future of hip-hop is in good hands.
In other Mzansi music news, Briefly.co.za reported that record producer Master KG has huge plans for the year ahead. Mzansi record producer Master KG is still radiating from the success of his hit song Jerusalema and has now revealed that he has big plans for 2021, according to a report by IOL.
“There are works in progress. We are currently working so hard with a couple of international artists," said Master KG.
The Limpopo-born star said that he would let everyone know the release date when the time is right. For now, he would just like to keep his plans under wraps.
