Bonang Reveals What She Would Like for Valentine’s Day, SA Reacts

Bonang Matheba has sent out a message to her admirers about what she wants for Valentine’s Day. The media mogul is actually not asking for much and just wants simple flowers. Taking to social media Bonang tweeted:

“it's Valentine's Day...re rekeleng mablomo, bathong! (Buy us flowers!)"

Her tweet was met with agreement from the ladies who follow her, while some men were not too keen. Twitter user CastroGP_23 said:

“Unfortunately, Valentine's Day appears on the same day with the Men's Conference. We won't be available.”

Sabelo894 said:

“I just want to make somebody a single a shower of gifts for Valentine's baphi abantu raise your hands.”

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported that Bonang Matheba and Thuso Mbedu have received nominations from the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards in the USA. A number of other South African celebrities have received nods and there's girl power in the air as Zozibini Tunzi also received a nomination.

Thuso Mbedu has been nominated in the category for the Favourite African Star alongside Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi.

Bonang Matheba, on the other hand, is in the running for the Favourite African Social Media Star category. The nominations come as a piece of good news to South Africans as the country continues to fight against Covid-19.

Thuso Mbedu has been killing it on the acting scene and starred in a number of Mzansi productions before she spread her wings, going international.

She has also been nominated for an Emmy Award for her role in the telenovela Is'Thunzi. Thuso has been awarded a SAFTA as the Best Actress in a TV Drama.
