Emtee and Flame got into a heated exchange on social media recently about who has more hits between the two of them.
The Roll Up hitmaker took to Twitter on Wednesday, 10 February and asked his fans who makes a better hook in a song than him.
Flame came across the post and shared his opinion the rapper's question. Flame replied to Emtee:
"I don’t have anything against Emtee guys. I’m just saying I don’t believe he’s a better artist than me as much as he believes I’m not."
Emtee hit back at the Hit Me Up rapper and told him he's not competing with "lil boys". Emtee who is now an owner of Emtee Records replied:
"I asked a simple question. WHO MAKE BETTER HOOKS THAN ME? Never said I’m better than anybody or compared myself to anybody. Y'all lil boys carry on competing. I’m making music and raising my kids."
Flame expressed that he's also not competing. He then threw shade at the direction of Emtee. He suggested that Emtee has not had a hit since he left controversial record label Ambitiouz Entertainment. Flame said:
"Okay Emtee. Your last hit was in 2017... what now?"
Tweeps took to Flame's comment section and shared mixed opinions on his post. Check out some of their thoughts below:
@ndile_Zondii commented:
"Emtee introduced Reece, you were introduced by Reece. You see that gap there between you and Emtee."

"But you don't have a hit too, the last time and only time you had a hit was 2017 'Money Today'. You never had a big song in South Africa bro. Look within before you look outside. Secondly Emtee had a hit in 2018 called Abantu what about you?"

"Your last hit was when A-Reece mentioned you on Meanwhile In Honeydew!"
@MiickeyGee_Sa commented:
"Have you played Candy Man? RLD?? Have you checked numbers?? Stats?? Have you?? Stop capping, Flvme been doing numbers."
@man_brothers added:
"You are trying to get recognition by attacking EMTEE. Strategy nyana sa go creata beef!! How cheap are you bro?"
In other entertainment news, Briefly.co.za reported that Ami Faku took to social media to share that she has dropped a new song featuring Emtee. The title of the soulful track is called Lala Ngoxolo, which means Rest In Peace.
The songstress shared that the song is out now on all digital platforms that deal with music. The singer explained on Instagram, a day before dropping the song, that the track is dedicated to those who have lost their loved ones due to the Covid-19 pandemic. She posted:
"I hope this tune brings you comfort and puts your heart at ease."
The two musicians trended after dropping the dope track. Ami, who has a soothing voice, is popular in Mzansi for her tracks such as Into Ingawe, Uwrongo and Ndikhethe Wena. The songstress took to Twitter when she officially released the song and wrote:
"#LalaNgoxolo featuring Emtee, out now on all digital platforms."
