Megan Thee Stallion has denied that the Grammy Awards were rigged after her historic wins on Sunday night, 14 March. The US rapper walked away with three awards for Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.

The Savage Remix hitmaker slammed the rumours that her Grammy wins were pre-meditated. She said, "You win some, you lose some."

The Houston-born artist replied when TMZ asked what she thinks about the Grammys being rigged:

"She needs to realise all her success over the past year is due to sympathy and TikTok. Congrats to her, but that was not a Grammy album and Savage Remix winning best rap song because Beyoncè is on it is crazy. Facts only and I’m not even a @theweeknd fan. He was robbed."

@iamsantwan said:

"Sympathy no, and TikTok did help and a lot of artists use it for promotion, I didn't even know he had an album out. I thought it was a song with an album coming later this year or something and on top of that she's been putting twice the work even after getting shot."

@RamRamBiggaLow commented:

"She says that cause she knows her label got her those Grammys."

"It’s only rigged when you lose."
