American music producer, Benny Blanco, definitely has an interesting number on his list of awkward situations he has found himself in in the industry.
The producer in a recent interview on Apple Music’s 'The Zane Lowe Show' opened up about the one time when he accidentally kissed singer, Beyoncé, according to a recent report.
Blanco, who disclosed that the incident happened about a decade ago, narrated how he was playing beats and Jay-Z had walked up to him and said “free-styling in my ear”.
According to Blanco, Beyoncé was also present at the gathering and he had to take a moment to appreciate his life and how he was spending time with two of the biggest music stars in the world.
However, Blanco’s awkward moment with the songstress happened much later in the day.
He narrated how he had planned to give the diva a goodnight kiss on the cheek but things didn’t quite go as planned.
Blanco was quoted to have said:
"I went to do like, kiss on the cheek, and I guess we just missed a little bit. And just like, I definitely hit the corner of some sort of lip. I'm like, 'Oh my God. This is the worst thing in my life'."
Blanco said he thought his life had come to an end as Jay-Z caught a full glimpse of what had happened.
"And I look at Jay and I'm like, 'Oh, OK. I'm dead. My life is over. It was great. Nice knowing you guys'."
Fortunately for the producer, things didn’t go as bad as he had imagined. Blanco said Jay-Z simply said his goodbyes and no one noticed what happened.
