Emmanuel then approached his dad, who was in the company of a yet-to-be-identified lady, as both locked in an embrace. A heartwarming smile spread across his dad's face upon learning that the car Emmanuel came in with was his.

Emmanuel said he owes his life's achievements to the man.

The video gained huge traction on social media with many seizing the opportunity to eulogize their parents.

Coach Love Erika Atkins said:

"There is nothing like being close to your parents. As a middle-aged person the relationship with my mother is my longest-lasting relationship. My mom is my best friend.
"Currently, she's in the hospital and I was sitting here feeling broken hearted about that. Thanks for sharing your joy with your Dadd there's nothing like it. Although I can't afford a Range Rover, my mother reacts with elation when I buy her shoes and other girly accessories."

Sonia Boatwright reacted:

"In the end, it’s not about the gift. A father, like a mother, will always love their child unconditionally. Just being and doing your absolute best makes a parent infinitely proud."

Adewale Omoniyi wrote:

"Beautiful stuff Emmanuel Acho. Especially since you broke the classic cardinal rule of parents, pursuing a profession outside of medicine, engineering or law."

Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za earlier reported that a lady who had surprised her dad with cake and gifts on his birthday got a promise of R37k by an undisclosed personality.
