The River actress Sindi Dlathu has decided to spoil her fans by hosting a beautiful lunch date. Sindi did this because she wanted her fans to know that she appreciates their endless support. In a lengthy Instagram post, Sindi detailed how grateful she is for her fans.
"Nothing will ever be enough to say thank you for the kindness and love that @daughters_of_sindi and other supporters of my work," she said.
Sindi feels that she can't do much to thank her loyal fans but hosting a luncheon was the least she could do to show her appreciation.
"My team and I put together a special luncheon where I got to meet and personally thank an amazing group of people for their love and support. We ate, we sang, we laughed and we cried," said Sindi.
The actress said that she would've liked to meet all of her fans but she is happy that she got the opportunity to meet a few. She also added that the luncheon was the first of many. Sindi Dlathu called her fans her family.
"You have touched my heart in such a special way. And I wish each and every one of you the best in all that you wish and pray for," she said.
Briefly News previously reported that The River cast and crew honoured Sindi Dlathu as she started her new position. Sindi Dlathu was recently promoted to being a co-producer on The River and the award-winning actress was welcomed to her new position in style.
The cast and crew members of the popular soapie congratulated Sindi for her new role in the show.
In a video shared by The River's social media team on Instagram, Sindi is seen walking through a line-up of the cast and crew members who were praising her for her amazing achievement. She was initially confused at who they were clapping for but soon realised that it was all for her.
