Jack Mabaso, a blogger known for documenting his South African experiences while living in China, tried something his followers dared him to do. On 19 September 2026, he posted a selfie-style video on Instagram showing himself washing his hair with Sunlight lemon dish soap, which he cheerfully declared "the best shampoo."
In the clip, Mabaso holds up a bottle of Sunlight liquid, credits a comment from a previous video for the idea, then goes ahead and lathers it into his hair. The greenish foam builds up quickly, and he seems genuinely impressed by how many bubbles the soap produces compared to his regular shampoo. After rinsing and blow-drying, he holds up his freshly styled hair to the camera and gives the product a glowing review:
