In other heartwarming Briefly News reports, an 18-year-old teen, Lewis Roberts, who had been certified dead, started breathing again hours before he was to be taken off life support.
Mirror reports that Lewis was involved in a ghastly crash and appeared to have lost his life in the incident. It should be noted that after doctors said there was nothing to be done to save his life, his family agreed to donate his organs.
A fundraising campaign that was organised for him has since gathered over £1,000 (R20 000). The facilitator, Chloe Roberts, revealed that the teen was knocked down by a van in his hometown of Leek.
Stokesentinel gathered that his planned organ donation was going to save seven other people after medical expertise said he could not be saved. Chloe revealed that Lewis’ health has since improved as he is responding well to pain tests and moving his limbs well enough.
