South Africans respond to Mthembu's death

@Nelisiwe94 replied:

"Mandla Mthembu is Khanyi's ex-husband and the father of Khanyi's only daughter. In his death, we shouldn't be characterising him as some sort of ex-boyfriend. May he rest in peace."

@miste_Tee commented:

"Why the mention or relevance of a long-standing member of the ANC? Was he accompanying Cyril Ramaphosa in New York?"

@TruthTeller_99 said:

"He had a weak legacy. He blew R260 million in 6 months, bought 2x yellow Lambos, and let a below-average baddie milk him dry."

"It's crazy that Khanyi had searched for him as he just disappeared for years. She shared multiple times in interviews that she didn’t know where he was. The people who knew his whereabouts kept quiet. However, now that he has passed on, his whereabouts are suddenly known."

@muzi_mocco responded:

'Witchcraft in the form of SARS made him leave South Africa. You can't live extravagantly in SA without being asked what you do for the poor and to give back."

@nkabindenm commented:

"He suffered a depression and stroke after Khanyi chowed all his money💰. He was too old to be outsmarted by Khanyi. RIP, comrade Mandla Mthembu. I hope that Mbalula will release the statement soon🙏."
