Award-winning South African musician Makhadzi is fuming and demands that SAMRO pay her royalties.
The Sesi ka Rose singer took to Instagram, under Maphephandaba's post, to vent about her never-ending troubles with the music body, regarding her money. The star had left Open Mic Productions to pursue her own business ventures.
She then accused Mokima Music & Publishing of stealing her royalties, saying, “At this point, I don't know what to do with myself.”
This time, Makhadzi is still fed up, and she wants answers regarding her royalties and why they are being paid to someone she has never authorised.

Makhadzi slams SAMRO
Commenting on the Instagram blog's page about Mshoza's children demanding money from SAMRO, Makhadzi took the opportunity to speak about her own troubles with the entity.
"We really need help with the SAMRO agenda. I went there to collect my royalties, and they told me someone else was collecting on my behalf. At this point, I don’t know if there's a monkey's hand, or what, because how can the whole organisation like SAMRO just allow anonymous come collect our royalties without any proof that they work with us?" she asked.
Makhadzi then revealed that she challenged the company and asked if they would do the same thing to Tyla, and she said that they said no.
"I asked them if that meant I could come represent Tyla and get her royalties? They said, No, it's impossible. I am like, owk it’s only happened to people who look like stupid? Then they didn’t reply," she said. "So SAMRO is the home of criminals. They wait for you to have sleepless nights recording songs so they can use your money to feed their families. When we go live, swearing at people, they say we are not professional. How can one be professional when our money is being eaten with such a simple explanation?"
