A video posted to X on 19 September 2026 has set Mzansi's tongues wagging after a woman was identified as the elusive Ghost Lady from Podcast and Chill. The clip, which showed two friends at a restaurant enjoying colourful drinks and good food, quickly circulated across social media after one user made a bold claim about who the woman in it was.
X user FiscusKgosi pointed to the woman in a striped dress, who features prominently throughout the short clip, as the mysterious podcaster. Along with the identification, they threw in a sharp caption.
"Ghost Lady (Khanyi) of Podcast and Chill when she is not drunk and dragging other women in a podcast."
Who is Ghost Lady?
Ghost Lady, often referred to as Khanyi, has carved out a distinctive lane for herself on Podcast and Chill by fiercely guarding her anonymity. Unlike her co-hosts MacG and Sol Phenduka, she never appears on screen, only contributing her voice from the background. That has not stopped her from becoming one of the show's most talked-about personalities.

In recent months, she gained notoriety for a particularly spicy exchange involving DJ Prince Kaybee, when she weighed in on his leaked DMs and tape scandals in a manner many found condescending. She has since become a figure South African social media simply cannot stop debating.
In 2023, the podcaster trended after fans believed they had cracked her identity through a clip from a reality show; however, even that was not confirmed.

Mzansi reacts to Ghost Lady's alleged appearance
The video split the comment section almost immediately. Some users were sceptical, arguing the woman's appearance did not match the voice they have grown familiar with on the podcast. Others, however, were not thinking about voices at all - they were too busy gushing.

Whether or not the woman in the striped dress is truly Ghost Lady remains unconfirmed, as the podcaster herself has yet to address the speculation publicly.
