Cassper Nyovest is not holding back. The rapper fired off a furious post on X on Thursday, 17 September 2026, making it crystal clear he wants nothing to do with Podcast and Chill — and that no amount of booking attempts will change his mind.

The outburst came after a clip resurfaced showing hosts MacG and Sol Phenduka laughing about a missing runner, Elizabeth Tsontso, later found dead in Kempton Park. The banter sparked widespread outrage across South Africa, with many calling out the podcast for its insensitivity.

"They have tried so many times to get me on that rubbish podcast. After everything they said about me, they still tried!! I'll never set foot there. Poison!!! Vuil hearts!! Mawaza a batho!!!" he wrote, adding that it was his final word on the matter for the day.

The rapper made it plain that the show's history of talking negatively about him, combined with the recent controversy, put any collaboration firmly off the table.

"Man of God is judging others 😳"

@solly_msosti pushed back more firmly:

"Cass, you know how much traffic you pull on this app; it's sad that you've changed the focus from those unalived women to you. You've made this about you; yes, they were wrong, but we're dealing with a crisis: an active serial unaliver, and thanks to you, the podcast will get record viewers."

@BhutiSno took a different angle, arguing the fans deserve better:

"They're right to try, and they must not stop trying to get you on a podcast, remember your fans are also Chillers; it's not about you, and it's not by MacG, but for the Chillers, and the Chillers love you, and they want to see you on the biggest podcast in Africa. Love and peace 🤍"

@bongwe_ncube offered a pragmatic view:

"The world is dynamic; digital airspace is taking over; you will need them one day."
