Cassper Nyovest found himself tangled in a social media storm on 17 September 2026, and it quickly turned personal when his past resurfaced in the most unexpected way.
The rapper had taken aim at Podcast and Chill co-hosts MacG and Sol Phenduka, whose fanbase is known as the Chillers, over remarks the pair made about slain runner Elizabeth "Tsontso" Moselakgomo on their podcast. What began as a principled stand against insensitive content soon spiralled into a full-scale digital clash with members of that fanbase.
One Chillers fan, in a now-deleted post on X, appeared to bring up Cassper's previously admitted infidelity. Rather than dodge the subject, Mufasa leaned into it, drawing a firm line between personal failings and making light of gender-based violence.
"I'll go on another sex spree before I joke about someone's mom/daughter going missing in a country that has a deep-rooted issue of GBV & violent crimes!!! I will even do it on camera!!!"

The Gusheshe rapper then took direct aim at the widely circulated claim that he had abandoned his son during a medical crisis, dismissing those who believed it in blunt terms.
"If you think the story about leaving my son is true, then you're as dumb as the rest of them!!"

Revisiting the 2024 scandal
The story Cassper referenced dates back to 2024, when his then-girlfriend Thobeka "Bexx" Majozi went public with her account of events surrounding their son Khotso's cancer diagnosis. Khotso was just eight months old at the time, and Majozi alleged that Cassper had cheated on her during that deeply painful period, with the other woman being none other than his now-wife, Pulane. Majozi did not hold back in her account.
"The woman knew me, my son's condition and made no mistake about flaunting their relationship. After finding out, he ended it with her and tried to make amends with me. I couldn't trust someone who could hurt me at my lowest or allow another woman to disrespect his woman."
Cassper had not disputed the infidelity allegations when they first surfaced, which is what made his latest denial particularly pointed for many online observers.
Despite the turbulent history, Cassper and Majozi have managed to maintain a civil co-parenting arrangement. The two were recently seen coming together to celebrate Khotso's sixth birthday.
As for the tension between Majozi and Pulane, the two women reportedly settled their differences and have since moved on from the drama.
