Media personality and reality TV star Lethabo LeJoy Mathatho is officially a bride. The star tied the knot in a traditional magadi ceremony held in Seshego, Limpopo, on Saturday, 3 October 2026, surrounded by close family and friends, and the videos from the big day have the internet talking.

Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Lethabo opened up about the emotions of the day and what moments stood out most.

"There were so many beautiful moments, but the moment they uncovered the blanket will stay with me forever. Seeing the look on everyone's faces, particularly my in-laws, was incredibly emotional. Their faces were filled with genuine joy, and in that moment I realised this was bigger than just a wedding. It was two families, two histories and two journeys coming together."

"It comes down to how I was raised and the values I hold very close to my heart. I had no business talking about a man publicly until he had decided to come to my family and ask for my hand in marriage," she said.

For Lethabo, protecting the relationship from public attention was intentional. "There was something beautiful about allowing the relationship to exist without the noise of the outside world. I wanted to protect the process, the people involved and, most importantly, the love itself. Not everything precious needs an audience."

Gushing over her partner

Lethabo also spoke warmly about the man she chose to build a life with, describing qualities that won her over long before the wedding day.
