Content creator Ghost Hlubi has clapped back at controversial music critic Nota Baloyi following a public dig on the latest episode of Music Pulse. In a video that surfaced on 8 October 2026, the creator, whose real name is Khanya Hlubi, came out swinging and made it clear he had no intention of staying quiet.

"I don't know where you come from, I just know that you're a broer who trends for speaking about other broers; that's what you're known for," he said.

Ghost Hlubi went further, questioning Nota's standing outside of his role on MacG's Podcast and Chill network.

"What else do we know about this broer? We know nothing. You don't inspire us, you don't motivate us, you're just there running your mouth on the podcast. Working for MacG, being MacG's employee and talking about me," he said.

He ended his response with a firm warning, telling Nota to "never talk about me again" and to "chill out."

The context behind the clash

Nota's criticism was directed at Ghost Hlubi's recent content, which included appearances with students and personalities from the Christian Progressive College, widely known as the CPC Stars, as well as footage from a Gold Reef City outing with Sydney Seethal, the sister of global star Tyla.
