Wedding bells rang this past week as the fan-favourite couple on Skeem Saam, Pretty Seakamela and Lehasa Maphosa, tied the knot.
On Saturday, 13 September 2025, an online user @ReleGlo posted a picture of the couple on social media dressed in their gorgeous traditional wedding attire on her X (formerly Twitter) page.
The two characters played by Lerato Marabe and Cedric Fourie's love story on the TV soapie have had many viewers in a chokehold for the longest time since they ignited their romantic relationship.

6 South African actors join Skeem Saam: “Lehasa the jailbird”
In more entertainment news, Briefly News reported in January 2025 that Skeem Saam is welcoming new actors to star opposite Cedric Fourie, who plays the role of Lehasa Maphosa.
Fourie will star opposite legendary actor Ronald Mkwanazi, who will play the role of a criminal mastermind, Ta Austin. SABC PR Specialist Caroline Phalakatshela shared with Briefly News journalist Mbali Tebele what to expect this coming week on Skeem Saam.
"Shortly after 2025 begins, viewers will be on a roller coaster ride through Lehasa’s new reality as he serves his sentence in prison, seen 6 January 2025. He has no apartment, no cars, and no fancy suits."
