An American TikToker known as Dalton posted a candid update on 13 August 2026, sharing news about his mother's health alongside an eyebrow-raising reveal about how much money the drama surrounding his missing South African wife had made him online.
Dalton, who goes by @dalton.aint.worried on TikTok, opened the video with a serious update. His mother, who has a rare form of blood cancer, was transported to the Cleveland Clinic on Monday. The cancer had been pressing against her blood vessels and causing blood clots, forcing her to undergo a risky procedure to insert stints in her arms and legs. He said the procedure went well and that his mother wanted to express her gratitude to everyone who had been sending prayers and support.

The tone of the video then shifted dramatically. Responding to critics who claimed he was using family hardship for clicks and cash, Dalton pulled up earnings analytics on screen. The screenshot showed he had made $46,516.14 (almost R750 000) and gained 300,351 net followers from only two videos posted over the past seven days.

He delivered the reveal with barely concealed glee, taunting would-be content creators who had made videos mocking him. He rounded it out with a string of self-aware jokes, at one point putting on a graphic T-shirt to appease viewers who objected to his shirtless appearances, then pretending to beg people to stop being mean to him while signing off with "I got money to blow."
