TikTok user @zintlenkonzo posted the clip on 13 August, and it quickly spread across social media for all the right reasons. In the video, the driver strikes up casual conversation before steering it toward something far more personal, declaring he is not looking for anything casual but wants a serious, long-term relationship.

The Briefly News team reached out to Zintle to ask how things ended with her and the charming taxi driver.
We asked if she ended up paying the taxi fare, and she said:
“I didn’t pay. He gave me a lift to the rank where I was going to catch another taxi to town (CBD Durban). I gave him my number and blocked him the same day after he dropped me off.”
When we asked if she gave the smooth-talking driver her number, Zintle responded:
“Well, he ended the conversation with ‘Don’t give out your number anymore, you’re mine now!’ I told him not to be greedy because others will also see what he saw.”
