Tshepang Nyati, 21, was allegedly stabbed by a 53-year-old neighbour in Refilwe, Cullinan, during Spring Day celebrations after a water-splashing incident. His aunt said the family was told by witnesses that Tshepang was not even the person who splashed the neighbour. She rushed to the scene and found him bleeding heavily, while the family struggled to get an ambulance. He was eventually taken to a nearby clinic in a private vehicle, where he was declared dead on arrival. The alleged suspect was later apprehended after community members tracked him down.
