A Johannesburg content creator asked her followers to settle a very important debate: which pink outfit deserved its moment at the Shades of Pink event.
Anarzade posted the video on Instagram on 24 August 2026, giving viewers a front-row seat to her outfit prep in partnership with Amazon South Africa. The event, themed around shades of pink, had her pulling together two distinct looks to present to her audience for a final verdict.
The first option leaned into smart casual, pairing jeans with a sparkly top and a blazer for a look that felt polished but still comfortable. The second was bolder: a fluffy pink jacket that she admitted had been getting a lot of wear lately. She noted that Johannesburg's warming weather was a factor, making the jacket feel like more of a risk as temperatures climb.

She grabbed a restock of Instax mini-film, something she said she regularly sources from the platform for the best price. She also picked up a L'Oreal Panorama mascara, which she mentioned she had been hearing good things about and was keen to try.
