A South African chocolate lover has turned Springbok rugby’s most beloved strategist into a chocolate bar, and the internet cannot get enough of it.
TikToker @sjommies posted the video on 28 August 2026, captioning it with a rallying cry to South African fans to help get the bar into Rassie Erasmus’s hands before the third Test of the Greatest Rivalry Tour.
The thinking behind the Rassie bar
Each ingredient was chosen deliberately. The creator explained her reasoning in the clip:

“Step 1, salted caramel, obvious right? Rassie loves a bit of salt in the wounds.”
“Step 2, that’s where it gets interesting, white chocolate ganache infused with marula. Peppermint goes in last because just when you think you’ve figured him out, he puts in a surprise substitution. The Rassie bar.”
The bar mirrors the personality of the man himself. Rassie Erasmus has coached the Springboks to back-to-back Rugby World Cup titles, winning in 2019 and 2023, and is widely regarded as one of the sharpest tactical minds in world rugby.
How to get Rassie to comment
Since Erasmus is not on TikTok, according to some viewers, @sjommies asked fans to head over to her Instagram account (@sjommie.s) and tag him at @ras.rugby. If she can get him to comment “Lekker,” she has promised to fly to Johannesburg before the third Test against New Zealand to personally deliver the bar to him.
