A South African running community came together before sunrise to pay tribute to Elizabeth "Tsontso" Moselakgomo, a fellow runner and mother who lost her life to gender-based violence.
TikTok user @softsgora_ shared footage of the gathering, which began in the dark at a shopping centre parking lot and ended with a group photograph taken in daylight. The caption read:
"In her honour 💜 Rest in peace, Tsontso, a mother, top runner and human being. We ran in honour of your life today and all victims of gender-based violence."
