A Johannesburg housewife has left Mzansi dreaming of the soft life after sharing her amazing solo day exploring Japan while her sister stayed in bed feeling unwell.
Content creator @trullyzoe_, known for sharing travel, workout, fashion and beauty videos, posted the vlog on the 10 of June that quickly caught everyone's attention.
The busy woman ventured out to Shibuya on her own, showing the incredibly crowded streets and long queues of people waiting to eat at popular spots. She grabbed a bagel while walking around before heading to her main activity - a traditional Japanese sweet-making class she booked online.

"A day in the life of a Joburg housewife in Japan! The Japan vlogs continue, and I'm all alone today, Boooo. I had a good day nonetheless with plenty of new experiences."
The housewife attended a class at a local woman's house where she learned to make nerikiri - traditional Japanese sweets. At first, the teacher seemed a bit cold, but the Joburg woman's friendly personality soon had them chatting about personal things like husbands and family life.
Her Hello Kitty sweet didn't turn out as perfectly as her teacher's, looking more like "a New York rat" according to her, but she enjoyed making one that reminded her of her husband back home. The teacher, who works as a history professor at a nearby university, took the next part of the class, a matcha-making process, very seriously.
The traditional matcha ceremony involved specific techniques - holding the whisk in one hand, pouring with the kettle in a certain way, and stirring with precise movements. The Joburg housewife felt like she was getting a truly authentic Japanese experience and was impressed with how amazing the matcha tasted without any milk or sugar.

She ended up drinking two or three cups because it was so good, and the teacher gave her a two-page list of recommendations for the best places to get matcha, clothing, and kitchenware around the city.
After her class, she went shopping for another bag and got her toes done at a nail bar. She tried an incredible noodle restaurant that the teacher recommended.
