Rachel Kolisi spoke openly about the weight women carry every day during a Falling Forward event on 27 October 2026, sharing a message that quickly struck a nerve with thousands of people online.

The South African public figure and creator of the Falling Forward movement took to the stage to challenge the relentless pressure placed on women to look a certain way, perform at a certain level, and somehow make it all seem effortless. She pointed out that the world profits from women believing they are not enough, from beauty standards and career expectations to parenting and appearance.

Kolisi pushed back against the idea that influence only comes with a platform or a large following. She reminded the audience that every woman already carries purpose where she stands, whether at home, at work, or in her neighbourhood.

The clip was captioned with a message teasing what audiences in London could expect from the upcoming Falling Forward November event.
