What did Zille reportedly say?

According to Allie, who was present at the recording, Zille told MK Party spokesperson Andile Chalwe that she was "talking s**t" after Chalwe declined to withdraw a statement. Allie described the exchange as preceded by "aggressive words of intimidation" directed at Chalwe.

Allie further alleged that Zille later acknowledged to the show's host that she had used profane language, attributing it to remarks Chalwe had made during the debate.

The full recording has not been broadcast, and no independent audio or transcript of the exchange is publicly available. Zille and the DA had not issued a public response to the allegations at the time of reporting.

ActionSA and the MK Party also issued a joint demand for Moja Love to broadcast the complete, unaired episodes of the debate by 15 October 2026. The two parties disputed the channel's stated reason for withholding the footage, which centred on missing release forms. Both parties say the recording contains evidence relevant to their complaint.
