Former Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze has been shown the door by Sekhukhune United after just seven games in charge, with the club confirming his departure on Tuesday, 1 September 2026.

Kaze’s exit comes after three successive defeats, including two against Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 semi-final before another loss in the Betway Premiership.

Sekhukhune confirmed that the two parties had agreed to part ways with immediate effect. The club thanked Kaze for his “dedication, professionalism, and contribution” during his short tenure.

The changes come just days after reports suggested that Kaze’s relationship with the club had deteriorated following disagreements over football operations and technical matters.
