"She was the apple of her daddy's eye, his little girl, his whole heart. He would never have allowed the things that are happening now, and it hurts knowing he isn't here to protect her the way he always would have," she wrote.

She added:

"People say they care, but when it truly matters, you see who actually does. No one could ever replace her dad. But I'll continue to protect her, love her and make sure she never feels alone. She has me, and I'll always be there for her."

Adendorf went on to like several comments beneath the post. Among those she endorsed were remarks suggesting she had been "excluded" from family events and had been forced to raise Allaia-Jayda without financial "resources" connected to her late father's career. She also liked a comment that read:

"Family turn into monsters."

Tombstone unveiled in Stellenbosch

Last month, the Adams family gathered at the Jamestown Cemetery in Stellenbosch to unveil Jayden's tombstone. Family members and loved ones wore Mamelodi Sundowns T-shirts bearing his surname on the back. The tombstone features an image of Adams in his Sundowns kit, holding the CAF Champions League trophy.

Adendorf attended the occasion in white, and photographs shared on her social media accounts show her consoling Allaia-Jayda at the graveside. Adams's other child's mother, Jody Solomons, also shared photographs from the tombstone ceremony.
