X user @amandam4life shared the footage on Thursday, 8 October 2026, captioning it with a reference to the Siwelele FC forward and his new look. The post picked up significant traction by the following day.

Lepasa's journey after leaving Pirates
The reactions come against the backdrop of a turbulent few years for the forward. After seven seasons at Orlando Pirates, Lepasa parted ways with the club in July 2025, with persistent injuries having kept him off the pitch during his final campaign at the Soweto-based side. He had spoken openly about his desire to bounce back and prove himself at a competitive level.
A proposed move to Durban City did not materialise, and Lepasa eventually signed with Siwelele FC in September 2025. His first season there was also hampered by injury, restricting him to just three Betway Premiership appearances.
During his time at Pirates, the striker made 64 appearances, contributing 15 goals and two assists. He also represented Bafana Bafana at international level and had loan stints at Stellenbosch FC, TS Galaxy and SuperSport United.
As the 2026/27 season gets underway, Lepasa remains part of the Siwelele setup, with his focus still firmly on recapturing the form that made him one of South African football's more promising forwards.
